The SERLEPC Emergency Warning System Committee shall be responsible for;

  1. Assisting with evaluating municipal resources and procedures for public notification of a hazardous materials emergency;
  2. Assisting with promoting the development and implementation of an effective emergency notification system that would provide adequate communications during a hazardous materials emergency;
  3. Assisting with developing procedures for interfacing with neighboring jurisdictions; and
  4. Assisting with recommending avenues to fund improved Emergency Warning Systems that impact SERLEPC members and territory.
