The Southeast Regional Local Emergency Planning Committee (SERLEPC) is excited to announce our upcoming Hurricane Workshop & Safety Fair, scheduled for Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the Pasadena Convention Center. This annual event serves as a vital opportunity for SERLEPC to engage with the community on hurricane preparedness, general safety, and first aid. It benefits the residents of Pasadena, Deer Park, Seabrook, El Lago, Taylor Lake Village, Nassau Bay, Webster, and southeast Harris County.
This is a free, fun family event, and there will be a touch-a-truck area, plenty of giveaways, free food, and safety awareness education. In addition to our annual children’s bike raffle for ages 3-14 years old, we will be giving away 3-8Kw mobile generators.
Our keynote speaker this year will be Elyse Smith, a Meteorologist and Weather Reporter for ABC13 Houston.
She will present on all things Weather, including the 2025 hurricane forecast outlook and how to prepare for it. So mark your calendar for Saturday, June 7th.
