To: Facility Manager/Representative
The Southeast Regional Local Emergency Planning Committee (SERLEPC) would like to thank you for your continued support. With the help of facilities such as yours, the SERLEPC is able to continue providing services to you and the public. Our partnership with you and local governments is essential for developing emergency planning in the event of a chemical incident and increasing citizen awareness of Industry protection measures through our community education projects.
The SERLEPC provides services for the contiguous areas within the jurisdictions of the Cities of El Lago, Nassau Bay, Pasadena, Seabrook, Taylor Lake Village, and Webster. It also includes the Pasadena Industrial District as defined by the LaPorte LEPC and former Bay Area LEPC boundary descriptions and the Pasadena Industrial District located along State Highway 225.
Your contribution has allowed the SERLEPC to continue to perform its mission: to improve hazardous materials preparedness within our community through cooperative public-private partnerships.
The SERLEPC is active in community projects, such as Public Education & Community Awareness, Emergency Response & Security, Compliance Assistance, and Community Alarms. The Executive Board is further working on a comprehensive review of the statutory requirements and our organization’s bylaws to ensure that we are organized in a manner to serve our community best. As always, the SERLEPC is most appreciative of the direct involvement of your site representative at general meetings and on committees within the SERLEPC.
On behalf of the entire Southeast Regional Local Emergency Planning Committee, I would like to thank your Facility for its continued support. Please do not hesitate to contact one of the board members should you have any questions or suggestions. Contact information is on our website at www.serlepc.com.
Respectfully,
SERLEPC Membership Committee
